GuGu GaGa

Photobucket

My obsession for Lady GaGa is starting to scare even me! But I can't help it, she can do no wrong. Her confidence inspires me to take more risks with my fashion and style and to stop second guessing my clothing choices because I'm afraid of what someone else might think.

Who is Nathan Jenden?

Photobucket
Nathan Jenden is Creative Director at Diane Von Furstenberg and has been designing his own namesake label since 2005. What he chose to do for his Spring 2010 RTW line is what makes his clothes just a little more special. He decided to use all models who were NOT Caucasian, to reflect fashion's diversity.

How refreshing! Maybe he will inspire other designers to make their fashion show a little more colorful♥

Most Influential ♥ 2009

I would like to recognize a few fashionable people who have inspired and influenced my style this year. 2009 has been a major, major year for me and I really began to learn who I am and what I really like. Especially when it comes to my style and the image it portrays to others.

1.)
The first person I want to recognize is my girl crush-Amber Rose. With her creamy smooth skin and gorgeously fit figure, she looks good in anything and everything. I the sexy, trashy, rock goddess look. Let's take a look at some of her most memorable ensembles, beginning with her leggings and catsuit looks:

2.) Next up, is the designer who I feel has had the most influence in fashion this year-Christophe Decarnin for Balmain.

His last few collections have inspired a flock of women to look for military jackets, sequence and distressed mini dresses worn with hardcore booties, strong shouldered blazers, sheer white t's, and anything leather. The fashion genius has many followers, from Beyonce:

To fashion icon and musical legend, Michael Jackson

3.) Last, but not least, I have to acknowledge Nini from Nini's Style, Hahn from Life in Travel and Maury and Gisela from Heights of Fashion. There aren't enough words in the vocabulary to describe how ridiculously fashionable these ladies are. Glamorous, creative, innovative, stylish-and the list goes on. It would be AMAZING if the ladies decided to make a lookbook, similar to what the Sartorialist did (hint-hint), I would be the first to purchase all three.
